Enovaway, a member of the N. I. Theocharakis group of companies, set out in 2012 to create Koolfly, a youth fashion e-commerce site with a unique content-oriented twist.
By integrating content presentation and e-commerce functions into a single platform, Koolfly successfully tried to make effective use of its in-house produced, rich, high-quality editorial content, in order to boost the awareness of the products it sells. Thus, crossing the borders between commerce and content, a unique internet shopping experience was created.
The shop was based on the Magento Enterprise platform, arguably the most powerful and complete e-Commerce platform available. A wide selection of marketing tools and techniques were integrated into the site, thus augmenting the user’s shopping experience and supporting the commercial aspect of the site.
The site’s demanding content presentation requirements, led us to a series of UI modifications that allowed the successful merge of product and content pages using a single, uniform design throughout all sections, and irrespective of the type of information presented.
